(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indiana Pacers Forward Danny Granger is one of 27 players named to participate in USA Basketball’s 2010 to 2012 national team program.
Granger, the Pacers' leading scorer at 22 points per game this season, was a participant in the program last year but could not attend last summer's team USA minicamp in Las Vegas due to a sore knee.
The pool of players will form the team for the 2010 FIBA World Championships this August in Turkey and the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Eight members of the 2008 gold medal-winning Olympic team in Beijing are on the roster, including Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
Also named to the program is former IU star and Indianapolis native Eric Gordon.
