(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Indiana Hoosiers could not keep up with 11th ranked Michigan State Tuesday night as the Spartans pulled away in the end to earn a 72-58 win inside Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
Verdell Jones III supplied the Hoosiers with a game high 20 points, but the Spartans were balanced with four players scoring in double figures including Draymond Green who had 14 points off the bench.
Michigan State knocked down open looks all night as they shot a blistering 59 percent from the field.
Indiana, on the other hand, had a hard time getting open and shot only 34 percent for the game.
Indiana was able to stay in the game because of Michigan State fouls.
The Hoosiers connected on 25 of 28 free throws.
