(NEW YORK, NY) - Luke Harangody recorded a double-double off the bench to lead the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame to a 68-56 win over Seton Hall in the second round of the Big East Tournament.
Harangody entered the game when Carleton Scott got into early foul trouble in the first half, finishing with 20 points and ten rebounds.
It was the second game back for the Big East's leading scorer after missing five games with a knee injury. Tory Jackson added 14 points as the Irish improve to 22-10.
Jeremy Hazell led Seton Hall with 15 points with Herb Pope adding 14 as the Pirates fall to 19-12. Notre Dame takes on number-two seed Pittsburgh in tonight's quarterfinals.
The Irish beat the Panthers 68-53 on February 24th in South Bend without Harangody.
