(SIOUX FALLS, SD) - The IUPUI Jaguars fell short in their quest to make the NCAA Tournament, falling to Oakland 76-64 in the finals of the Summit League Tournament.
The Jaguars had no answer for the Golden Grizzlies' Derick Nelson, who finished with a career-high 36 points.
Larry Wright finished with 16 points and Keith Benson pulled down 17 rebounds despite being sidelined with foul trouble for a long stretch in the first half.
Alex Young led IUPUI with 19 points with Robert Glenn finishing with 18 points and Leroy Nobles adding 14 as the Jaguars drop to 24-10.
Oakland is in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005 with a 26-8 mark.
