(HAMPTON, GA) - Kurt Busch picked up his first win of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup season with his victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
A pair of late accidents led to two attempts at a green-white-checkered finish with Busch pulling away from Juan Pablo Montoya on the second restart.
Matt Kenseth also got past Montoya to finish second with Montoya third and Kasey Kahne and Paul Menard rounding out the top five.
With his second-place finish, Kenseth jumped up two spots in the points standings to second place, 26 points behind leader Kevin Harvick.
NASCAR's top series will have this weekend off before returning to action March 21st at Bristol Motor Speedway.
