(MUNCIE, IN) - Ball State’s basketball season ended Sunday as the Cardinals fell to the Ohio Bobcats 85-77 in overtime in the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
Former Indiana Hoosier Armon Bassett led all scorers with 25 points with DeVaughn Washington and Tommy Freeman adding 15 points apiece for the Bobcats, who improve to 18-14.
Randy Davis led Ball State with 21 points with Jauwan Scaife adding 17 as the Cardinals wind up their season at 15-15.
Ohio will face top-seeded Kent State in the quarterfinals Thursday evening in Cleveland.
