(KANSAS CITY, MO) - The Notre Dame women’s basketball team had their season come to an end as they fell to Oklahoma 77-72 in overtime of a Kansas City regional semifinal in the NCAA Tournament.
Nyeshia Stevenson hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 4.4 seconds left in OT.
She would steal Notre Dame's long inbounds pass and would ice the game with a pair of free throws, finishing with a team-high 21 points.
Abi Olajuwon added 20 points and 14 rebounds for the Sooners, who improve to 26-10.
The Fighting Irish were led by a pair of seniors as Melissa Lechlitner finished with a game-high 22 points with Lindsay Schrader adding 19 in their final games at Notre Dame.
The Irish finish the season at 29-6.
Oklahoma will take on Kentucky in Tuesday night's regional final.
