(UNDATED) - The Butler Bulldogs celebrated their run to the NCAA Championship Game with a rally Tuesday afternoon at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
The Bulldogs fell to Duke 61-59 in Monday night's title game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
In the aftermath of Butler's run, the team received a call from President Barack Obama and head coach Brad Stevens was invited to appear via satellite on "The Late Show with David Letterman".
Tuesday's plans originally included a parade to run from Hinkle Fieldhouse to monument circle in downtown Indianapolis following the rally, but the parade was cancelled.
It was Butler's first appearance in a national championship game while the Blue Devils claimed their fourth NCAA Men's Tournament title.
Duke welcomed the Blue Devils home Tuesday in Durham with a celebration at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
