(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Yadier Molina’s ground rule double in the eighth drove home Albert Pujols with the go-ahead run as the St. Louis Cardinals got past the Atlanta Braves 4-3 in St. Louis.
Atlanta jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the third on a sacrifice fly from Brian McCann and an RBI single by Troy Glaus.
Nate McLouth made it 3-0 Braves with an RBI double in the fourth.
Pujols put the Redbirds on the board with an RBI groundout in the sixth.
Colby Rasmus led off the bottom of the seventh with a solo homer off Tim Hudson and Bryan Anderson tied the game later in the inning with an RBI double.
The loss was the sixth in a row for Atlanta.
