(CHICAGO, IL) - Adam LaRoche homered twice and Kelly Johnson kept up his surprising power display as the Arizona Diamondbacks pounded the Chicago Cubs 13-5 at Wrigley Field.
LaRoche hit both home runs off Cubs starter Ted Lilly, who was roughed up for six earned runs over five innings in his second start since offseason shoulder surgery.
Johnson hit his National League-leading ninth home run, a three-run shot in the seventh.
Johnson has already surpassed his home run total from 2009 and is more than halfway to his career-best of 16 homers in 2007.
Kosuke Fukudome hit a grand slam off D-Backs starter Ian Kennedy in the eighth.
Kennedy went on to pick up his first victory since he won his big league debut with the New York Yankees in September of 2007.
