(CLEVELAND, OH) - Shin-Soo Choo hit a grand slam and drove in five to lead the Cleveland Indians past the Chicago White Sox 7-4, completing a sweep of the three-game series at Progressive Field.
The Indians pounded Chicago starter Gavin Floyd, scoring all seven runs in the first two innings.
Floyd was unable to retire a batter in the second and allowed seven earned runs on six hits and four walks in an inning of work.
Mark Grudzielanek drove in the other two Cleveland runs with a two-run single in the first.
Fausto Carmona allowed three runs over six innings of work to get the win, improving to 2-0 as the Indians have won four straight.
Floyd falls to 0-2 as the Sox have lost four in a row.
