(CHICAGO, IL) - John Danks and the Chicago White Sox cooled off a hot Tampa Bay team, defeating the Rays 4-1.
Danks settled down after allowing a solo home run to Carl Crawford in the first, allowing a run on two hits over eight innings while striking out nine to improve to 2-0.
Paul Konerko hit a solo homer and drove in two with Andruw Jones also hitting a solo shot for the White Sox, who snapped a four-game losing streak.
David Price took the loss for the Rays, who had a seven-game winning streak ended.
