(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Fever opened training camp on Monday as they begin defense of their Eastern Conference Championship.
None of the Fever's starters are in camp as all five are competing in the Turkish pro league playoffs.
Indiana won its first Eastern Conference Championship last season, losing to the Phoenix Mercury three games to two in the best of five WNBA finals.
The Fever return their top seven scorers from last season, but the window may be starting to close as Tammy Sutton-Brown, Tamika Catchings, Katie Douglas and Tully Bevilaqua are all 30 years of age or older.
The 37-year-old Bevilaqua says this will be her final season.
