(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - Francisco Liriano threw eight shutout innings as the Minnesota Twins blanked the Cleveland Indians 6-0.
Liriano, who is three seasons removed from reconstructive elbow surgery, appears to be regaining his all-star form as he allowed six hits and struck out six to improve to 2-0.
Michael Cuddyer hit a solo homer and a two-run triple for Minnesota with Denard Span adding a two-run single.
David Huff gave up four runs over six innings to take the loss for Cleveland, falling to 1-2.
