(ANAHEIM, CA) - Austin Kearns homered for the second-straight game and drove in five runs to lead the Cleveland Indians past the Los Angeles Angels 9-2 in Anaheim.
Shin-Soo Choo drove in a pair of runs and rookie Mitch Talbot pitched into the seventh as the Indians snapped a two-game skid.
Talbot allowed a run on six hits over six and-a-third innings of work to improve to 3-1.
Brandon Wood hit a solo home run and scored both Los Angeles runs.
Joe Saunders allowed three runs over five innings and was saddled with the loss, falling to 1-4.
