(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - The Cleveland Indians had their four-game winning streak snapped as they lost to the Minnesota Twins 5-1 in Minneapolis.
Justin Morneau put Minnesota on the board with an RBI double in the first before Travis Hafner tied it with a solo homer off Twins starter Kevin Slowey in the second.
The Twins took the lead for good by scoring four times in the third with the runs coming on a bases-loaded walk, a wild pitch, a fielding error and a sacrifice fly.
Slowey allowed five hits and struck out nine in eight innings of work, improving to 2-1.
Cleveland starter Justin Masterson took the loss to fall to 0-2.
