(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Yadier Molina drove in the go-ahead run with a two-run single in the sixth as the St. Louis Cardinals edged the Atlanta Braves 5-4 at Busch Stadium.
Ryan Ludwick hit a solo homer, his fourth of the season, and drove in two runs as the Cardinals won their third game in a row.
Chris Carpenter allowed two runs on three hits over six innings to improve to 3-0.
Atlanta starter Derek Lowe pitched into the sixth inning, giving up five earned runs to take the loss and fall to 3-2.
The Braves have lost seven games in a row.
