(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A pep rally was held for the Butler basketball team on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs are the first team to play in a Final Four in their hometown since John Wooden's UCLA Bruins won it all at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in 1972.
Since they are not travelling, the Butler players will continue to attend classes through Friday while fulfilling their obligations for the NCAA.
The players will board shuttle busses from the campus and head to today's news conferences and to Friday's open practice.
