(CINCINNATI, OH) - Albert Pujols hit a go-ahead RBI single and Matt Holliday followed with a two-run double as the St. Louis Cardinals scored four times in the seventh inning to beat the Cincinnati Reds 6-3.
The Cardinals took a 2-0 lead on an RBI single by David Freese in the second and another run-scoring single from Ryan Ludwick in the third.
Cincinnati tied it in the sixth on a two-run home run by Orlando Cabrera. Freese would add an RBI single to cap St. Louis' big seventh inning.
Cabrera hit an RBI double in the eighth to complete the scoring.
The Cardinals will try to sweep the three-game series this afternoon at Great American Ball Park.
