(UNDATED) - This Sunday’s Izod Indycar Series race at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama will not be the swan song for Graham Rahal at Sarah Fisher Racing.
Rahal will drive for the team at the April 18th Grand Prix of Long Beach.
Rahal drove in the March 28th race at St. Petersburg and gave SFR the first top-ten finish in the history of team.
Team owner Sarah Fisher will be back behind the wheel when the series runs its first oval track race may first at Kansas Speedway.
Rahal originally signed with SFR for the two races at St. Petersburg and Alabama.
Has been rumored to be heading back to Newman-Haas-Lanigan Racing, where he spent the first two years of his Indycar Series career.
He left Newman-Haas-Lanigan after his sponsor left during the offseason and has been trying to raise the funds to obtain another full-time ride.
The Indycar Series will hit the road course at Barber Motorsports Park on Friday for two practice sessions with qualifying scheduled for Saturday morning.
