(CINCINNATI, OH) - The Cincinnati Reds snapped San Diego’s eight-game winning streak with a 5-4 victory over the Padres at Great American Ball Park.
The Reds rallied for two runs in the eighth with Ramon Hernandez driving home the go-ahead tally with a one-out single that scored Jay Bruce from third.
Hernandez finished with two runs batted in as the Reds avoid getting swept in the three-game series.
Adrian Gonzalez hit a two-run homer and Kyle Blanks had a two-run double to account for the Padres' offense.
