(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Rookie Jaime Garcia threw seven shutout innings as the St. Louis Cardinals blanked the Atlanta Braves 6-0.
Garcia allowed four hits to improve to 2-1.
Albert Pujols drove home the Cardinals' first run with an RBI single in the first with Colby Rasmus adding an RBI double and David Freese hitting a two-run single in the fifth.
St. Louis has won four games in a row and will go for a four-game series sweep this afternoon.
Atlanta has lost eight games in a row.
