(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Scott Dixon was quickest in practice for a second-straight day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Dixon turned in a lap of 226.971 miles per hour early in the day and it stood up for the remainder of the practice session.
Ryan Briscoe and Alex Tagliani also had laps in excess of 226 miles per hour while Hideki Mutoh, Dario Franchitti, Will Power, Tony Kanaan and defending champion Helio Castroneves turned in laps in the 225 mile-an-hour range.
It was a clean day with no incidents as 35 car-driver combinations turned almost 2,300 laps.
Practice resumes today at noon eastern time.
