(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Dario Franchitti was dominant in winning his second Indianapolis 500.
Franchitti led 155 laps in pulling out an impressive win while conserving fuel at the end.
Dan Wheldon appeared to be gaining on Franchitti at the finish, but a late crash involving Mike Conway and Ryan Hunter-Reay allowed Frachitti to win the race under caution.
Wheldon finished second for the second-consecutive year and Marco Andretti was awarded third after it was ruled that three cars passed his under the yellow.
Alex Lloyd, Scott Dixon and Danica Patrick were moved back one position each in the revised box score, finishing fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.
