(NEW YORK, NY) - Robinson Cano hit a three-run home run and four other Yankees drove in two runs each as New York pounded the Chicago White Sox 12-3.
Nick Swisher hammered a two-run homer and Brett Gardner added a solo shot as the Yankees took two of three in the series.
Phil Hughes threw seven shutout innings, allowing four hits to improve to 3-0.
Paul Konerko hit his major league-leading twelfth home run of the season, a three-run shot in the ninth off Mark Melancon that gave the Sox their only runs of the game.
