(CHARLOTTE, NC) - Roger Penske’s team did not fare well at Indianapolis, but Sunday was not a total loss as Kurt Busch led Penske South to a win at the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte.
Busch led 252 of the 400 laps to complete a Charlotte sweep after winning last weekend's Sprint Cup All-Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Jamie McMurray fell about seven-tenths of a second shy of giving Chip Ganassi a sweep of the 600 and the Indianapolis 500, finishing second.
Kyle Busch was third with Mark Martin and David Reutimann rounding out the top five.
Kevin Harvick, who finished eleventh, holds a 29-point advantage over Kyle Busch in the Sprint Cup points race.
