(ST. PETERSBURG, FL) - Jeff Niemann remained perfect as the Tampa Bay Rays snapped a three-game skid with a 5-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Niemann allowed a run on three hits over eight innings to improve to 5-0.
Carl Crawford hit a solo home run and drove in two with Evan Longoria also hitting a solo shot.
Hank Blalock capped the scoring for the rays with a two-run single in the eighth.
Mark Teahen drove in the lone Chicago run with a solo homer in the eighth.
Gavin Floyd allowed three runs on four hits over seven innings to take the loss, falling to 2-5.
