(PITTSBURGH, PA) - The Pittsburgh Pirates scored seven runs off Chicago starter Randy Wells and cruised to an 11-1 win over the Cubs, completing a three-game series sweep.
Lastings Milledge hit a pair of two-run doubles with Garrett Jones driving in three as the Pirates move past the Cubs into third place in the NL Central.
Brian Burres pitched seven shutout innings, allowing three hits to improve to 2-1.
Wells suffered his first loss of the season, allowing seven runs on five hits and three walks to fall to 3-1.
