(PITTSBURGH, PA) - Garrett Jones drove in a pair of runs and Ryan Church homered to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates past the Chicago Cubs 4-2.
Jones put Pittsburgh on the board with an RBI single in the first.
The Pirates made it 3-0 in the third on a pair of RBI doubles from Andrew McCutchen and Jones.
Chicago got to within 3-2 in the fourth on an Aramis Ramirez sacrifice fly and an RBI single from Mike Fontenot.
Church capped the scoring with his solo shot in the sixth off Cubs starter Ted Lilly.
Charlie Morton went six innings for Pittsburgh, allowing two runs on five hits to pick up his first win of the season to improve to 1-5.
Lilly took the loss to drop to 1-2.
