(CINCINNATI, OH) - Laynce Nix pinch-hit solo home run in the bottom of the eleventh inning gave the Cincinnati Reds a 3-2 win over the New York Mets.
Drew Stubbs led off the game for Cincinnati with a solo homer and Joey Votto added an RBI single in the sixth.
Jeff Francoeur put New York on the board with an RBI single in the second and the Mets tied it when Jose Reyes drove home Luis Castillo with a double in the sixth.
That was all of the scoring until the eleventh when Nix hit a high fly ball off New York's Manny Acosta that landed in the first row of the right field bleachers.
It marked the eighth time this season that the Reds won a game in their final time at bat.
