(CLEVELAND, OH) - Francisco Liriano improved to 4-0 as Minnesota hammered three home runs in the Twins’ 8-3 victory over the Cleveland Indians.
Nick Punto finished with three runs batted in while Orlando Hudson hit a two-run homer and Jim Thome and Delmon Young added solo shots as the Twins took two of three in the series.
Liriano pitched seven innings, giving up three earned runs on eight hits while striking out nine.
Austin Kearns had an RBI double and Grady Sizemore added a run-scoring ground out for the Indians.
