(CHICAGO, IL) - Ervin Santana threw seven solid innings as the Los Angeles Angels survived a late comeback by the Chicago White Sox to pull out a 6-5 victory.
Juan Rivera hit a two-run home run and Kendry Morales drove in two runs as the Angels built a 6-1 lead.
Santana left after seven innings after allowing an unearned run on seven hits.
The Sox came back with four runs in the eight thanks to a two-run single by Gordon Beckham and a two-run double from AJ Pierzynski.
Brian Fuentes pitched a perfect ninth to preserve the win as Los Angeles sweeps the two-game series.
Santana picks up the win to even his record at 3-3.
Jake Peavy allowed all six Angels runs in six innings of work and falls to 3-4.
