(NEW YORK, NY) - Derek Jeter hit a two-run single and Mark Teixeira hammered a go-ahead three run home run as the New York Yankees scored five times in the bottom of the seventh to defeat the Cleveland Indians 7-3.
Trevor Crowe put Cleveland on the board with an RBI single in the third and the Indians scored two unearned runs in the seventh to take a 3-0 lead.
Following the Yankee's big seventh, they added two more runs in the eighth to make a winner of AJ Burnett.
Burnett allowed one earned run on five hits over his eight innings of work to improve to 6-2.
