(OAKLAND, CA) - Bronson Arroyo pitched eight strong innings as the Cincinnati Reds made it back-to-back wins in Oakland, defeating the Athletics 4-2.
The Reds jumped on Oakland starter Dallas Braden early with Corky Miller hitting a two-run single in the second and Joey Votto adding an RBI double in the third.
Coco Crisp would get the A's to within a run in the third when he hit a two-run homer off Arroyo, but Cincinnati would get some insurance in the fifth when they scored an unearned run.
Arroyo allowed two runs on five hits to improve to 7-3.
Braden, who has not won since pitching a perfect game on May Ninth, took the loss to fall to 4-7.
