(DAYTONA, FL) - Practice for Saturday night’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway gets underway on Thursday.
There will be a pair of practice sessions tomorrow with qualifying scheduled for Friday afternoon.
Jimmie Johnson enters the weekend as the hottest driver after winning back-to-back races at Sonoma and New Hampshire.
He trails Kevin Harvick for the Sprint Cup points lead by 105 entering the weekend.
Tony Stewart is the defending race winner while Jamie McMurray was the winner of the season-opening Daytona 500.
