(SEATTLE, WA) - Ryan Rowland-Smith picked up his first win of the season as the Seattle Mariners blanked the Cincinnati Reds 1-0 to complete a three-game series sweep.
Rowland-Smith pitched into the seventh inning, allowing three hits while walking five and striking out two to improve to 1-6.
Franklin Gutierrez drove home the game's lone run when his sacrifice fly in the fourth inning off Reds starter Aaron Harang drove home Chone Figgins.
Harang allowed a run on three hits over six innings to fall to 5-8.
