(CHICAGO, IL) - Carlos Quentin hit a go-ahead two-run single in the seventh and finished with three runs batted in as the Chicago White Sox got past the Cleveland Indians 8-7 to avoid a three-game sweep at US Cellular Field.
Paul Konerko hit a two-run homer, his 17th of the season, for the Sox.
Lou Marson hit a three-run shot, his first of the season, for Cleveland with Jhonny Peralta driving in three more runs with a two-run single in the first and an RBI single in the eighth.
