(KANSAS CITY, MO) - AJ Pierzynski, Gordon Beckham and Alexei Ramirez had RBI singles as the Chicago White Sox halted their two-game skid with a 4-3 win over the Kansas City Royals.
The Sox scored three runs in the second and another in the fourth to give Gavin Floyd a 4-0 lead.
The Royals came back in the fifth with Wilson Betimit hitting an RBI double and Scott Podsednik adding a two-run single.
Floyd pitched into the seventh inning to pick up the win, improving to 3-7.
Brian Bannister took the loss for Kansas City to drop to 7-6.
