(MORZINE, FRANCE) - The record seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong who is racing in his 13th and final tour is out of contention to win the race.
Armstrong is in 61st place and is 12-minutes behind leader Cadel Evans.
Armstrong was caught up in three-crashes going down in one and struggled to keep up during two tough climbs in Stage 8 Sunday.
Armstrong has declared that his Tour is finished.
