(HOUSTON, TX) - Brett Myers lost his shutout in the bottom of the ninth, finishing with a complete-game four-hitter in the Houston Astros’ 6-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
Houston did all of its damage in the seventh inning with Lance Berkman capping the six-run frame with a grand slam off Cubs reliever Andrew Cashner.
Myers walked one and struck out twelve to improve to 8-6.
Tyler Colvin provided the lone Chicago run with a solo shot in the ninth, his 16th of the year.
