(CLEVELAND, OH) - Cleveland Cavalier fans are not only outraged about LeBron James departure from the city but the $100,000 fine that NBA Commissioner David Stern gave Cavs owner Dan Gilbert Monday.
The Cavs owner received a fine for ripping apart James for leaving Cleveland to play with the Miami Heat last week.
Gilbert has received thousands of e-mails and phone calls from fans offering to help pay the fine.
Gilbert issued a statement saying he would pay the fine and thanks those who offered to help and asked the fans to send their money to a charity instead.
