(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Tomas Scheckter has been named to drive the Dreyer and Reinbold Racing entry in the July 18th Izod IndyCar Series race through the streets of Toronto.
This will be Sheckter's second go-round as Mike Conway's replacement in the number-24 car as he filled in at Texas in early June.
The team announced yesterday that rookie JR Hilderbrand will drive the car in two races in August.
The 22-year-old reigning Firestone Indy Lights Champion will make his IndyCar Series debut August 8th at Mid-Ohio and will drive the 24-car again at Infineon Raceway on August 22nd.
Conway suffered leg and back injuries in a final-lap accident during the Indianapolis 500 on May 30th.
He is planning on returning to the car in September.
