(LOS ANGELES, CA) - Rafael Furcal hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 3-2 win over the Chicago Cubs.
James Loney gave LA a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when he scored Furcal with an RBI single.
Alfonso Soriano tied the game in the second when he blasted a home run to the back of the left field bullpen off Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw.
The Cubs took the lead in the fourth on an RBI single by Geovany Soto which set up Furcal's game-winner off Cubs starter Randy Wells.
Kershaw went eight innings, allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out twelve to improve to 9-4. Wells falls to 4-7.
