(CHICAGO, IL) - Jason Michaels’ pinch-hit, two-run double in the top of the twelfth gave Houston the lead as the Astros got past the Chicago Cubs 4-3 in extra innings.
Michaels would score on Angel Sanchez' single as Houston got an insurance run they would need when Geovany Soto hammered a two-run shot off Gustavo Chacin in the bottom of the twelfth.
Starlin Castro put the Cubs up with an RBI double in the first with Pedro Feliz tying the game in the eighth with a solo blast off Chicago starter Ted Lilly.
