(CINCINNATI, OH) - The Washington Nationals halted a four-game skid with an 8-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
Stephen Strasburg was not dominant, but was good enough to get his fifth win.
The rookie pitched into the sixth inning, allowing three runs on seven hits while walking one and striking-out seven to improve to 5-2.
Cristian Guzman put Washington ahead to stay with a two-run homer off Reds starter Bronson Arroyo in the fifth.
Ian Desmond and Nyjer Morgan added two-run singles for the Nats.
Miguel Cairo had a two-run single for Cincinnati as Arroyo takes the loss to fall to 10-5.
