(MILWAUKEE, WI) - Brandon Phillips hit a grand slam as the Cincinnati Reds used a pair of big innings to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 10-2.
Milwaukee took a 2-0 lead on an RBI double by Ryan Braun and a run-scoring single by Jonathan LuCroy in the fourth.
The Reds responded by scoring five times in the sixth with Miguel Cairo hitting a two-run double, Jonny Gomes hitting an RBI double and Joey Votto adding an RBI single.
Cincinnati blew the game open in the eighth with Phillips' slam off reliever carlos Villanueva with Votto following one batter later with a solo shot.
The Reds took two of three in the series.
