(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - The Chicago White Sox won their 50th game of the season defeating the Minnesota Twins 8-7 Thursday night at Target Field.
Gordon Beckham had a homerun with two RBI's to help lead the White Sox to their ninth straight victory.
Twins catcher Joe Mauer had three hits with three RBI's in the loss.
John Danks picked up the his ninth win of the season for Chicago.
The White Sox are a game ahead of second-place Detroit.
