(CLEVELAND, OH) - AJ Burnett threw six and-a-third shutout innings as the New York Yankees blanked the Cleveland Indians 8-0.
Mark Teixeira and Brett Gardner drove in two runs apiece for New York with Robinson Cano adding a solo homer, his 19th of the season.
Burnett allowed seven hits and walked three while striking out seven to improve to 9-8.
Cleveland starter Fausto Carmona lasted just two and two-thirds innings, giving up seven runs on ten hits as he drops to 10-8.
