Last updated on Wednesday, August 4, 2010

(BOSTON, MA) - Mike Lowell hit a two-run home run and Bill Hall added a solo shot as the Boston Red Sox snapped Cleveland’s three-game winning streak with a 3-1 victory over the Indians.

Josh Beckett allowed a run on three hits over eight innings to pick up the win, improving to 3-1.

Beckett was ejected in the eighth inning along with Indians pitcher Jensen Lewis and Cleveland third base coach Steve Smith after Lewis threw a pitch behind Boston's Adrian Beltre, prompting both benches to clear.

No punches were thrown.

Lou Marson hit a solo shot off Beckett for Cleveland's lone run.
