(KANSAS CITY, MO) - Yuniesky Betancourt and Wilson Betimit hit solo home runs as the Kansas City Royals edged the Cleveland Indians 2-1.
Matt LaPorta drove in the lone Cleveland run with a fielder's choice grounder in the second.
Betancourt tied the game with a fifth-inning blast off Cleveland starter Jeanmar Gomez. Betimit's shot off Gomez in the sixth proved to be the game winner.
Zack Greinke allowed a run over six innings to get the win, improving to 8-11.
Gomez suffers his first major league loss, falling to 3-1.
